What should one read to remove bad nazr?

Question

AS Salaam Mu Alaykum

What should one read to remove bad nazr?

Jazakallah.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is stated in a hadith:

Translation: It was narrated from Hazrath ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amir bin Rabi’ah (Radhiyallahu Anhu), from his father, that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “The evil eye is real.”

The following are some effective ways to overcome a bad eye:

▪ Recite Ayatul Kursi after every Salaah and before sleeping.[1]

▪ Recite the last two verses of Surah Baqarah during the night.[2]

▪ Recite the last three Quls three times every morning and evening.[3]

The following duas may also be recited:

Translation: In the name of Allah Ta’ala with whose name nothing on earth or in heaven harms. He is the All-Seeing, All-Knowing.

Translation: I seek refuge in Allah Ta’ala, All-Hearing and All-Knowing from the accursed devil, from his evil suggestion, from his puffing up, and from his spitting.

Translation: O Allah Ta’ala! I seek Refuge with Your Perfect Words from every devil and from poisonous pests and from every evil, harmful, envious eye.

Translation: In the Name of Allah Ta’ala, I perform Ruqyah for you, from everything that is harming you, from the evil of every soul or envious eye, may Allah Ta’ala heal you. In the Name of Allah Ta’ala, I perform Ruqyah for you.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best
