Title

Ghusl after the discharge of Mani

Question

assalamualikum, on waking up from sleep, if i found small white drops of mani on underwear.i had a dream and iam sure it is mani but it is very less like only half or one cm.not at all a size of dirham.is ghusl waajib now or i can just change the underwear and perform wuzu and salah

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

In principle, Mani is Najis. The discharge of Mani necessitates ghusl, despite being less then the size of a dirham.

If one is certain that the discharge in the dream was Mani, then ghusl will be necessary.  One will have to wash the impurity and perform ghusl. Performing wudhu will not suffice. [1]
