Change and good manners

Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

i hope this reaches you in the best of health and spirit InshaAllah..

i have a question regarding moderation in islam. Moderation means the center point of two extremes, so please enlighten me in how we can be moderate in islam in our ibadah and socializing etc.

also, if one has quit a bad habit and is trying to improve their self and become a better person and a few people complain that they are changing and becoming distant, is that against husnul khulq?

اعتذر اذ لم تفھم السؤال

let me know if you understood the question
