is it jaaiz for men to wear coloured contact lenses

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Men should not wear coloured contact lenses unless there is a genuine medical need to wear it.i

(لَا) يُكْرَهُ (دَهْنُ شَارِبٍ وَ) لَا (كُحْلِ) إذَا لَمْ يَقْصِدْ الزِّينَةَ

و في الشرح: مُطَّلِبٌ فِي الْفَرْقِ بَيْنَ قَصْدِ الْجَمَالِ وَقَصْدِ الزِّينَةِ (قَوْلُهُ إذَا لَمْ يَقْصِد الزِّينَةَ) اعْلَمْ أَنَّهُ لَا تَلَازُمَ بَيْنَ قَصْدِ الْجَمَالِ وَقَصْدِ الزِّينَةِ فَالْقَصْدُ الْأَوَّلُ لِدَفْعِ الشَّيْنِ وَإِقَامَةِ مَا بِهِ الْوَقَارُ وَإِظْهَارِ النِّعْمَةِ شُكْرًا لَا فَخْرًا، وَهُوَ أَثَرُ أَدَبِ النَّفْسِ وَشَهَامَتِهَا، وَالثَّانِي أَثَرُ ضَعْفِهَا، وَقَالُوا بِالْخِضَابِ وَرَدَّتْ السُّنَّةُ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لِقَصْدِ الزِّينَةِ ثُمَّ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ إنْ حَصَلَتْ زِينَةٌ فَقَدْ حَصَلَتْ فِي ضِمْنِ قَصْدٍ مَطْلُوبٍ فَلَا يَضُرُّهُ إذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ مُلْتَفَتًا إلَيْهِ فَتْحٌ، وَلِهَذَا قَالَ فِي الْوَلْوَالِجيَّةِ لُبْسُ الثِّيَابِ الْجَمِيلَةِ مُبَاحٌ إذَا كَانَ لَا يَتَكَبَّرُ؛ لِأَنَّ التَّكَبُّرَ حَرَامٌ، وَتَفْسِيرُهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ مَعَهَا كَمَا كَانَ قَبْلَهَا.
