Does ones fast break when a person ejaculates lying on his stomach?

Assalamualaikum WRWB

Dear Respected Mufti Saheb,

I had a question regarding my fast. So I was sleeping in the morning and then I had a wet dream, but however I woke up during the wet dream and I did not ejaculate. Then I went back to sleep. Then I woke up again and I was lying on my stomach. Due to my desires already being aroused, I stayed lying on my stomach and continued to think of sexual thoughts due to which I ejaculated.

My question is do I have to make qaddah of this fast and what is the situation of my fast?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

If a one ejaculates though any physical means such as masturbation or through deliberate friction as a result of lying on the stomach, his fast will break. He will have to make Qadha of that fast. Kafaarah will not be necessary.[1]

You should honestly apply the above principle in your situation and act accordingly. You should also make Taubah and Istighfaar and have a firm resolve to refrain from repeating such actions in the future.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best.
