Using Velcro, Elastic & Press Studs On Ihraam

Is it permissible to wear an ihraam which has velcro sewn on it or has elastic at the waist?

Also what about press studs on the upper cloth of the ihraam?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

In principle, it is Makrooh (disliked) for one to use an Ihraam with Velcro, elastic and press studs.[1]

If one uses such an Ihraam, it is advisable to compensate for the wrong by giving some charity.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
